Item upgrade is an evolution item that first was introduced in Generation II. This upgrade enables Porygon2 to evolve when traded while held.
It can be inserted into armor, weapon gear and trinkets in order to provide an additional bonus effect or increase its value. However, the majority of upgrade components require the item to be at a certain level before it can be slotted.
Recycle points
Recycle points can be used to upgrade certain items. You can earn them through recycling plastic and cans or by completing missions. To recycle an item, simply click on it with the right-click and press. You'll receive a small amount of books and XP. This can be used to recycle any item, including heroes and weapons. Substats
The sub-stats of an artifact can be random but can be improved using several ways. Sub-stats don't increase every time you upgrade them, like the main stats. They can be increased randomly in any of the slots. The number of sub-stats that an artifact is determined by its rank. Rank 2 does not have any sub-stats while the rank 5 has five. Each sub-status is a different range of rarity it can be produced in.
If you want to get a higher chance of getting an individual sub-stat you can select the REFINE ARTIFACTS feature to increase it by 4 levels. This will cost you MORA. Find duplicates is a different way to boost the sub-stats of an item. Then, you can enhance duplicates to give them a higher rarity or a different set sub-stats. This is a great method for players with high levels to increase their character's DPS. But, be careful not to overdo this and risk wasting your MORA.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens allow players to reroll an item that is currently possessed by a particular unit. Rerolling the item results in an upgraded version that comes with various bonuses, and a completely new type of equipment. In some cases it is possible to substantially increase its level of ilvl. However the item won't maintain its ilvl and rerolling is only beneficial when the item has rare affixes.
Rerolling an item resets the base power as well as any upgrades, and also rerolls the substats on top of the substats. This is beneficial if a ring's substats are not what the player wants or if a band's maximum power was less than desired. The token for rerolling can be found from various sources such as the skulled creatures, the mystery box or as a reward after killing a boss.
Weapons, armor, rings and other accessories can all be transformed. Weapons can be rerolled to increase physical power, spellpower, or health. Armor can be rerolled in defense or damage reduction, while rings can be rerolled for durability or damage. Rerolling an item of crafted equipment will also create a rare-like item of the same sort. Pressing the green button on the menu of items will allow you to reroll the item. However, the button will not be displayed on any item that is currently being utilized by the unit. To roll an object, the player needs to have at least one token for reroll in his inventory. Using this button, the player will need to select which stat they want to reroll and then confirm the action. In some instances, the reroll may take longer than expected. The rerolling system has a large number possible combinations. In these cases the player can utilize a second token to speed up the process.
